Hey! You Found Me!
Well, Not Exactly, But At Least You Found My Page!
Hi, I'm Anu (or Anuj if you want to be correct about it). If anything, I am a psychology student from Ireland (Yes, I'm Irish, Irish Indian to be exact) who likes to play Soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, and Video Games. I also enjoy nature and making origami. I know a few languages too if that's anything. My biggest strength would probably have to be my mindfulness and being able to manage so many mentally draining things together. I want to improve myself and also share that journey with the world too, but I want to do it my own way. That's why all of this exists. If I can help save you some time in becoming a better version of yourself, then I made the right choice to make all of this. I know many people on the internet do the same and make similar promises, so let's see how well I do!
Anyways that's enough about me, I'm just another person on the internet. Tell me more about yourself, it's always cool to meet new people. Find my Talk To Me page on this website (Yes, the one you are on right now...) to send me a message. I can't guarantee I'll always be available to reply but if you want to partner up, send me an offer, say hi or just tell me something random, try me, and I will make my best effort to talk with you. Let's "DevLOVEp" together.
Who Am I?
Why Am I Doing This?
I have noticed myself getting pretty developed in many different endeavours in life such as sports, study, origami, cooking, and video games. Every time I have gotten proficient in something, I've noticed a pattern in how I got that good in my limited time. So I've created that pattern into a framework and a FREE PDF that I will use to better myself and hopefully help others to improve too because that's how much I want to love myself and how much you should too.
Another (and probably most important) thing that I bring is a great level of mindfulness. Being a psychology student whose mom is a yoga teacher, mindfulness is something I have come across a lot. It's honestly one of the reasons I'm able to manage everything I do.
For example, In my final year of college, I was able to balance, attending all my classes and completing assignments, plus my thesis (which everyone does), as well as 6 hours of frisbee training a week plus weekend-long tournaments nearly every third week (Which some others also did) but also 4 hours of crisis intervention volunteering weekly (very mentally draining) and learning Norwegian (Norsk) while also making time to travel occasionally (I visited The Netherlands and India during my final semester). Also, note that this was during the time of social media and TikTok/Reels, just like nowadays.
Currently, I work a shift work job (which includes night shifts), exercise 2 hours a day roughly, continue learning Norsk, and spend a lot of my time creating this website and the associated content. (This seems like a shorter list than above but you'd be surprised how much time these actually take up, especially after accounting for making and eating food + rest)
Without mindfulness, I wouldn't be able to balance everything in either situation. Mindfulness also doesn't just stop there. Being mindful can include mindful eating or diet, mindful exercising, mindful learning, mindful practice (for whatever you practice) and just also keeping mentally resilient. I want to learn to become good at these and I want to share anything I learn with you (That's if I learn anything, otherwise you'll have to deal with nonsense Anu).
That's the message I want to spread, but why did I make all of this to do just that? Well, this year is my gap year and the plan was to save money for further study, but I didn't want to stop at that, since I didn't have too many commitments, I wanted to use this year to make the most out of the year to make myself a better person. I wanted to improve physically as well as mentally and that's why I decided to challenge myself to create this.
I do believe this can help us take control of our lives and that's why I want to work on it. Let's work together to live the way we want to... regardless of our life situations! That's what I want to show you, so if I can successfully do that, I'm happy.
